This generation's doubled air pressure most directly means "easier curling and faster setting," a real improvement for the all-thumbs, the thick-haired, and anyone who once found the Airwrap hard to master; drying is better handled too, so one device covers more. The colors and finish are classic Dyson strengths. But price is the big barrier: US$699.99 puts a styler in luxury territory, and most people can style with an affordable dryer plus a curling iron — the difference is convenience, hair care and polish, not "only this can do it." For long, very fine or badly damaged hair, results also vary. In short: those with the budget who style heavily and want airflow over heat will love it; for occasional styling on a budget, an affordable combo is more pragmatic.
