OnePlus 13: Snapdragon 8 Elite, a 6,000mAh / 100W Battery, a Hasselblad Triple Camera and IP69 — Flagship Value Done Right

Our rating 4.5

OnePlus has officially launched the global OnePlus 13. The opinions and analysis here are our own; specs are cited from OnePlus's official press release (see sources below).

Official facts: the OnePlus 13 packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage; the display is a 6.82-inch 1440×3168 LTPO at 120Hz with up to 4,500 nits peak brightness; cameras are a Hasselblad-tuned triple setup (50MP main, ultra-wide and 3x periscope); the battery is 6,000mAh with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging; protection reaches IP69/IP68. OnePlus lists pricing from US$899.99.

Our take: the OnePlus 13 is the poster child for cramming flagship specs in while holding the price at US$899.99. The Snapdragon 8 Elite delivers ample performance, the 6,000mAh battery with 100W charging essentially solves both endurance and charging anxiety (full in about the time it takes to drink a coffee), the 6.82-inch 4,500-nit panel stays readable in bright light, and the Hasselblad triple camera (with a 3x periscope) is remarkably complete at this price, while IP69/IP68 is unusually robust. It's compelling for buyers who want a no-fuss, all-in flagship. The honest trade-offs: a 6.82-inch screen plus a 6,000mAh battery make for a large, heavy phone that's less one-hand and pocket friendly than smaller flagships; and OxygenOS/ColorOS update policy plus thinner after-sales coverage in some regions are worth weighing if importing. Overall it's one of the best value Android flagships right now.

An honest note: pricing, memory/storage options and colors follow OnePlus's regional sites and channels; charging speeds (100W/50W) can vary slightly by regional charger standards and safety policy (the phone launched globally on 2025-01-07).
